Winter has arrived!
It's time to rug up, say goodbye to autumn and welcome the exciting winter season. It brings with it a change of produce, which means new and hearty dishes that your customers will simply love. Now is a great time to warm up your menu, deals and promotions - and heat it up a little!
Produce that's in season is cheaper, packed full of nutrients and is more flavoursome. Your customers will love unique, winter-only meals that celebrate the season.

The sure way to beat the winter blues is with a hot deal that your customers simply can't refuse! Think about creating deals to cater for the whole family on those cold winter nights as well as discounts and vouchers to give your customers that extra bit of incentive to order online.
Be sure to keep your customers informed about your hot deals and promos. Regular updates on Social Media as well as Email and SMS campaigns are the best way to go. Don't forget about in-store displays, posters and flyers - also great ways of keeping your customers in the know.
Now that's all sorted - how about some cool (see what we did there!) winter facts?
Although here in Australia we don't really feel the winter chill, some of the other countries definitely do!

The lowest temperature ever recorded was at Vostok Station in Antarctica. On July 21, 1983, it was - 98.2 degrees Celsius - brrrrrrrrr! Now that's not really good news when at - 40 °C the condensation of your breath can actually freeze.

A whole heap of salt is used during winter! More than 22 million tons of salt are spread on U.S. roads each winter - that's about 137 pounds of salt per person.
And the snowiest place on Earth award goes to... Aomori City! Located in northern Japan, it receives more snowfall than any major city on the planet - each year citizens are pummeled with about 26 feet of snow on average.
The winter season is a great opportunity for any business.
